What are some common problems with blenders?
There are a variety of reasons why your blender might not be spinning, but the most common are:
Switch Is Failing
The first thing to check is the switch. Just because the blender started when you pressed the start button does not mean that the blades are actually spinning. Oftentimes, the blades will spin for a second or two when the blender is first plugged in, only to stop a few seconds later. This could be due to a faulty switch, which is the most common cause of blender failure. When the blender is plugged in, the two small metal prongs inside the switch are supposed to complete a circuit, sending electricity to the motor. Too Much Food
